Bio

I was born and raised in Gary Indiana. Coming from a large musical family, naturally I had an interest in music. I was a huge fan of hip hop. My favorite rapper was LL Cool J. At the age of 12 I decided to take choir. My director heard me and said to me that I can sing. Despite me being totally against the idea, I gave it a try. I sang my first lead vocal to a resounding applause. It was at that moment I really believed that I had the gift to sing. I began to study artists like Luther Vandross, Patti Labelle and Whitney Houston. I watched a lot of Michael Jackson because I liked his showmanship. Soon my gift began to grow into something special. I co-founded a group called Sincerity. Although there were many members that came and went from the group, when we finalized the group, Sincerity grew into something very special. After our final attempt for a record deal fell through in 1995, I left the group and went to Minnesota on a mission to start a new life. I left music for a while until I joined church. My gift made room for me in their music ministry. I started a youth choir then a mass choir often singing lead vocals. It lead me to begin leading praise and worship. It was at that moment I discovered my true calling. The church disintegrated and we began the search for a new church. In 2002, my wife and I joined Open Door Evangelistic World Ministries. It wasn’t long before I was given an opportunity to use my gift. I went from starting a choir, to singing in the choir, directing the choir, starting a youth choir, leading and directing a men’s choir, starting a youth worship team and currently, singing in our worship team. I had the desire to want to branch off and create my own project and to God be the Glory it has been successful thus far. The bible says your gift will make room for you! My gift has truly made room for me to do some special things in music and I pray that it continues to open doors all over the world.
